Anxiety disorders are one of the most common mental health problems
of today. In America, Europe and elsewhere it is estimated that up to 25% of us suffer from this disorder.
You can take heart because there are as many natural remedies for this
condition as there are those suffering from it.
But don`t take it too lightly because those who have not found relief from this illness suffer panic attacks, poor concentration and often a sense of shame since this disorder is seen by some as just foolishness.

Home remedies for anxiety #2: Twenty minutes of daily meditation
in the morning and again in the evening will produce what Harvard
studies call the relaxation response. We are always in such a hurry
these days and we fail to slow down and take time to relax and then we
wonder why we can`t feel relaxed.
Getting comfortable with meditation
may take several times of practice, but once your body and mind become
familiar with it, you will feel a noticeable result each time you
meditate.
Spiritual remedies for anxiety #3: Studies show that those who have a spiritual or religious belief which they practice are more calm and experience less anxiety. There is no doubt about it, those who actively practice daily a spiritual faith of their choosing, suffer less illness and are the most comfortable and satisfied with their life.
Home remedies for anxiety #4: Practice deep breathing. Most of
us breath shallow and quickly which produces stress hormones. This
shallow breathing is symptomatic of an anxiety attack.
Do daily deep
breathing as part of your meditation practice. 10 - 20 minutes a day
sit in a chair with your eyes closed and hands gently laid on your lap.
Breath in through your nose on the count of 4 and feel the air fill
your belly as this should be a deep belly breath. Hold for the count of
4.
Then breath out through your mouth on the count of 8. With your eyes
closed imagine that a gray fog is leaving your body and with it all
stress and illness.
Home remedies for anxiety #5: As a Japanese woman I was
surprised when my American husband said he usually only showers and it
was unusual for men to take baths in the U.S.
In Japan it has long been
known that a soothing bath, especially if you add aroma-therapy with it
is a great way to relax. Use a natural bubble bath, incense, candles
and spiritual pictures to bring a full state of relaxation. Add in 7 -
10 drops of lavender essential oil for an extraordinarily relaxing bath.
Home remedies for anxiety #6: Drink a cup of chamomile tea each night as a night cap. This herbal tea has been used for centuries to relax.
Home remedies for anxiety 7: Be sure to get enough sleep. Many try living on 4 or 5 hours of sleep. Many studies have concluded that most of us need 6 - 9 hours of sleep to be truly rested. If you want to be healthy you have to take the time necessary to be so.
Remember that all illness`s come from an imbalance of body, mind and spirit. Eat more fruits, vegetables, fish, nuts, seeds and sea vegetation. Exercise, meditate and do daily deep breathing along with actively practicing a spiritual faith of your choosing.
